Seattle Seahawks Punch Postseason Berth with Thrilling Overtime Victory over Rams.

Game-winning play in the extra period

Receiver Saubert executed the game-winning two-point conversion for the Seahawks.

The Seattle Seahawks staged a stunning fightback to defeat the Rams in extra time, clinching their spot in the NFL play-offs.

Rallying from a 30-14 deficit in the final period, the Seahawks emerged victorious by a single point at home, notching their fifth consecutive victory.

While the Los Angeles had already secured a playoff berth earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks secured their place to the play-offs after a 24-month hiatus.

With this result, the Seattle have taken over their Conference standings with a twelve and three mark, replacing the Los Angeles, who dropped to the number five seed with an eleven and four record.

Game Recap

Signal-caller Darnold had two picks but recovered to deliver two touchdown passes, including the tying TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the extra period.

The Rams held a 13-7 lead at half-time before Kenneth Walker III burst through for a long touchdown run for Seattle.

Rams defensive back Josh Wallace then returned Darnold's initial interception for 56 yards, setting up a one-yard touchdown by Corum on the next play.

In the fourth quarter, a touchdown from Matthew Stafford to Puka Nacua extended the Rams' lead to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed ignited Seattle's hope with a spectacular return for a score.

Darnold then found AJ Barner in the endzone, and a converted conversion forced the contest into an extra period.

Although Puka Nacua raced in for his another touchdown in overtime, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the game-winning conversion.
